Isolation and Purification of Genomic DNA Services

Our nucleic acid extraction team are with 20 years of experience with extraction and purification of genomic DNA from tissues cells, blood, plant material and other biological samples. We can also provide samples if available in our inventory.  The extracted DNA is of high quality and high molecular weight (>50KB) and is ideal for several molecular biology and genomic applications including molecular cloning and sequencing. The purified DNA is subjected to rigorous quality control, in which samples are quantified and purity is estimated. Services include:

Protein Extraction Services

Zyagen skilled team has two decades of experience in protein expression analysis. They can help you in making high quality protein from biological samples provided by you or by Zyagen. Protein is extracted in a developed lysis buffer and subjected to rigorous quality control tests. The extracted protein is ready for immediate use in many proteomic applications including reporter assays (e.g., luciferase, beta-galactosidase, chloramphenicol acetyl transferase), protein kinase assays (e.g., PKA, PKC, tyrosine kinase), immunoassays (e.g., Western blots, ELISAs, RIAs) and/or protein purification procedures, immunoprecipitation, SDS-PAGE, isoelectric focusing gels and SDS-capillary electrophoresis, enzymatic activity analysis, gel shifting assay, and protein-protein interaction. • Extraction and purification of protein from tissues provided by the customers or Zyagen
• Extraction and purification of protein from primary cell or cell lines provided by customers
• Protein is extracted Zyagen lysis buffer or any other lysis buffer suggested by customers
• To prevent protein degradation, protein lysis buffer is supplemented with a cocktail of 7 protease inhibitors.
• Quantification of protein using highly specific and sensitive protein assays.
• Quality of protein is tested by denatured SDS gel electrophoresis
• Protein is provided in protein lysis buffer or denatured SDS sample buffer at any concentration suggested by customers
• Protein is shipped on dry ice

Construction of Premade Western blot Services

Zyagen offers custom services for making ready to use Western blots constructed with protein samples extracted from tissues/cells provided by the customers or Zyagen. We can construct blots with up to 20 samples including one pre-stained protein marker. Blots can be stripped and re-immunostained with other antibodies. Service include:

• Extraction of proteins from tissues/cells provided by customers
• Homogenization of tissues/cells in protein lysis buffer supplemented with a cocktail of 7 mammalian protease inhibitors.
• Quantitation of total protein using sensitive, specific, and accurate protein assay.
• Testing the purity and integrity of extracted proteins by gel electrophoresis.
• Fractionation of protein samples (up to 75 microgram each) plus pre-stained protein marker through large SDS-denatured polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
• Transfer proteins onto PVDF membranes.
• Staining blots with reversible staining to check the sharpness of protein bands and efficiency of transfer.
• Shipping blots to customers at room temperature in sealed bags
